Fred M’membe, editor of The Post in Zambia, was released from jail on 7 June 2010 after being held for three days, pending an appeal against his sentencing to four months of hard labour for contempt of court. Only three weeks earlier, he took part in the MDIF Media Forum in Slovakia.
